Our project aims to inform people about the consequences of overpopulation by gathering opinions and personal experience about overpopulation to be organized into a neat layout.  

For this project, we did both primary and secondary research and made a total of 2 outcomes.

Our primary outcome was done by creating a website using our own web hosting and domain name from rumahweb.com. We chose a website because it allowed us to fully customize the website in different ways to make it much more personalized and it also allowed us to arrange all of the important information about overpopulation that we had collected beforehand into a neat and organized format. By using a website, our data can reach a larger audience as it is made online and this will also allow users to interact more with our results as websites are more user-friendly.

As for the secondary outcome, we conducted both online surveys and interviews. We chose to do an online survey because we wanted to gain basic information about the issue,overpopulation whilst reaching a large audience. Online surveys also seemed to be the most efficient and flexible method for responders as they can access and fill in the survey anywhere at any time. In addition, we decided to do interviews because we wanted to gather other people’s personal opinions regarding the issue.

We discovered that there are many different viewpoints and factors that contribute to the resulting panic over overpopulation. Through our interviews and surveys, we found that people in different countries tended to respond in similar ways, with the country’s level of development and population density being the biggest influences. We were able to present all our research in an easy-to-navigate blog.
